Garden of Eden: 1170x900mm

This tile panel refers to an ancient time, before our species changed the earth, depicting many animals which are now extinct or endangered; each tile is hand-made, tubelined and painted in ceramic underglaze; the deep relief border tiles are press-moulded and hand-painted; the quotation, “I just happen to like apples, and I’m not afraid of snakes,” is a lyric borrowed from Ani de Franco (American folk/rock singer).
